Indications :
* Dimenhydrinate tablets is used mainly as an antiemetic in the prevention and treatment of motion sickness .
* It is also used for the symptomatic treatment of the vertigo, nausea, and vomiting of Menier’s disease and other labyrinth disturbances .
Dosage & Administration :
Adults : the usual dose is (1 – 2 ) tablets ( 2 – 3 )times daily, or every ( 4 – 6 ) hours to a maximum of 400 mg in 24 hours .
Children : ( 1 – 6 ) years : (1/4 – ½) tablet ( 2 – 3 ) times daily .
( 7 – 12 ) years : ( ½ – 1 ) tablet ( 2 – 3 ) times daily .
For motion sickness, the first dose should be given at least 30 minutes before travelling .
