PHARM. EFFECT

2, 4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amylmetacresol have antiseptic properties. Ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbate provide a source of Vitamin C, which may be beneficial during infection when Vitamin C levels are believed to fall.

INDICATIONS:

For the symptomatic relief of mouth and throat infection.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Occasional hypersensitivity reactions.

PRECAUTIONS:

Keep all medicines out of reach of children.

Consult your doctor if symptoms persist or if anything unusual happens.

Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrase- isomaltase insufficiency should not take this medicine.

The colors Sunset yellow and Ponceau may cause allergic reactions.

Drug and Food Interactions

No clinically significant interactions are known.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Adults and Children: One lozenge to be dissolved slowly in the mouth every 2-3 hours. There is no need for dosage reduction in the elderly. For oral administration.

OVERDOSAGE:

Overdosage should not present a problem other than gastrointestinal discomfort. Treatment should be symptomatic.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:

Do not store above 25°C
